SALFORD CITY COUNCIL
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (LANGLEY ROAD) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025.
The Order will introduce a road closure on Langley Road, Swinton, M6 6JW. The Order is necessary for sewer repairs. The order is due to come into operation on Monday 12th January 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 23rd January 2026. The diversion routes are via A6044 Agecroft Road - Kersal Vale Road - Littleton Road - A576 Cromwell Road - Langley Road South, vice versa. A copy of the proposed Order and plans of the area may be requested by contacting Salford City Council Street Works team via the email street.works@salford.gov.uk or the postal address below:
