(HIGH STREET AND VICTORIA STREET, COLDSTREAM)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (High Street and Victoria Street, Coldstream) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 30 October 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 1 November 2025. The Order is required for BT works. When the Order comes into effect, no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along the following in roads in Coldstream:

(a)   the A698 High Street opposite number 84 High Street; and

(b)   Victoria Street from Victoria Lodge to the junction with High Street.

A temporary three-way traffic lights system shall be in operation.

(A6089 STATION ROAD, GORDON)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER  2025

The Scottish Borders Council (A6089 Station Road, Gordon) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 27 October 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 31 October 2025. The Order is required for resurfacing and patching works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall:

(a)   drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Station Road, Gordon between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 each day. The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the A6089, A6105, A697 and A6089 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing: and

(b)   permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on the following roads between the hours of 08:00 and 15:00:

(i)  the A6089 at Station Road, Gordon from approximately 40 metres south of entrance to North House to the junction with the A6105; and

(ii) the A6089 at Kelso Road, Gordon from the junction with the A6105 south for approximately 30 metres.

(D172/6 CRICHNESS & D173/6 CRICHNESS)

( TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER  2025

The Scottish Borders Council (D172/6 Crichness & D173/6 Crichness) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of  18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 27 October 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 31 December 2025. The Order is required for Crystal Rig Wind Farm Operations.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the following roads on the dates specified:

(a)  Closure 1:

  the D173/6 at Crichness - from 27 October 2025 to 11 November 2025. The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the D173/6, B6355, D172/6 and D173/6 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing;

(b)  Closure 2:

  the D172/6 at Crichness - from 27 October 2025 to 11 November 2025. The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the D172/6, B6355, D173/6 and D172/6 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing;

(c)  Closure 3:

the D172/6 at Crichness - from 11 November 2025 to 31 December 2025. The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the D172/6, D202, C123, C121, C109, C110, C106, C107, B6355 and D172/6 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

Closure 1 will be completed before Closure 2 commences.
