What is happening?

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(WYMONDHAM, VARIOUS ROADS)

(OAKWOOD PARK)

(20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) ORDER 2025

Norfolk County Council propose to make the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce a 20 mph speed limit zone along the lengths of road specified in the Schedule below.

A copy of the draft Order, a plan and Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be viewed online at www.norfolk.citizenspace.com. Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of South Norfolk District Council, Horizon Business Centre, Peachman Way, Norwich NR7 0WF, during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.

Any objections and representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. All correspondence for these proposals must be received at the office of nplaw, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH, marked for the attention of the nplaw Traffic Regulation Order Team by the 11th November 2025. They may also be emailed to trafficorders@norfolk.gov.uk.

From its junction with the 7P553 Poppy Street, southwards for a distance of 98 metres, including turning heads

From its junction with the 7P560 Tipperary Avenue, southwards and north-westwards for a distance of 167 metres, including turning heads

Poppy Street

From its junction with the B1172 Norwich Road, south-eastwards then northwards and westwards around the whole loop for its entire length, a distance of 563 metres

7P560 Tipperary Avenue

From its junction with the 7P553 Poppy Street, southwards for a distance of 58 metres From its junction with the 7P561 Jutland Rise westward for 35 metres and eastwards and southwards from its junction with the 7P261 Jutland Rise for a distance of 67 metres, including turning heads

7P554 Wilfred Owen Mews

From its junction with the B1172 Norwich Road, south-eastwards for a distance of 67 metres
