What is happening?

(SCIENNES AREA)
(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025 - TEMP/25/130
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate SGN mains renewal works, no person shall, except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of:
(i) Chalmers Cres, both sides, from the extended north-west kerbline of Beaufort Rd, north-westwards and then northwards to the extended south kerbline of Hatton Pl; (ii) Mansionhouse Rd, both sides, from the extended north-west kerbline of Grange Rd, north-westwards to the extended south kerbline of Hatton Pl; (iii) Lauder Rd, both sides, from the extended north-west kerbline of Grange Rd, north-westwards and then northwards to the extended south kerbline of Hatton Pl; (iv) Tantallon Pl, both sides, from the extended north-west kerbline of Grange Rd, north-westwards and then northwards to the extended south kerbline of Sciennes Rd; & (v) Hatton Pl, both sides, from the extended west kerbline of Tantallon Pl, westwards to the extended west kerbline of Lauder Rd.
Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of road described. The Order shall have effect from 27/10/25 to 22/12/25.
