MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 ymhen dim llai na 7 niwrnod i ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn. Mae angen y Gorchymyn arfaethedig er mwyn gwneud gwaith gosod arwyneb newydd ar Draffordd yr M4 yn Ne Cymru.

Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd gosod terfyn cyflymder 40mya dros dro ar ddarnau o ffyrdd ymadael tua’r dwyrain a thua’r gorllewin Cyffordd 23A yr M4, Magwyr.

Disgwylir y bydd y cyfyngiadau dros dro, y codir arwyddion priodol yn eu cylch, yn dod i rym ar 20:00 o’r gloch ar 3 Tachwedd 2025 ac yn weithredol yn ysbeidiol am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf neu hyd nes y caiff yr arwyddion traffig dros dro eu symud yn ymatih yn barhaol.

THE M4 MOTORWAY JUNCTION 23A (MAGOR, MONMOUTHSHIRE) (TEMPORARY 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 202-

THE WELSH MINISTERS propose, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary due to resurfacing works on the M4 Motorway in South Wales.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to impose a Temporary 40mph speed limit on lengths of the M4 Junction 23A, Magor, East and Westbound exit slip roads.

It is expected that the temporary restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into force at 20:00 hours on 3 November 2025 and operate intermittently for a maximum duration of 18 months or until the temporary traffic signs are permanently removed.
