What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

(ROCKS LANE, OGDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Rocks Lane from its junction with Keighley Road to the junction with Lane Head Lane for a distance of approximately 475 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Lane Head Lane, Per Lane, Keighley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th October 2025. The Order will be in operation between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.

(UNION LANE, OGDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Union Lane from its junction with Keighley Road to the junction with Rocks Lane for a distance of approximately 581 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. Resident access to be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th October 2025. The Order will be in operation between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.

(PARK AVENUE, ELLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Park Avenue from outside No.10 to outside No.14 for a distance of approximately 27 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via the unaffected part of Park Avenue. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 11th November 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 11th November 2025. The Order will be in operation between 08:00 and 17:00 during this period.

(STAINLAND ROAD, ELLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by LJ Heffernan Utilities Limited intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stainland Road from its junction with Wakefield Road and Huddersfield Road for a distance of approximately 150 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on

27th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd November 2025. The Order will be in operation between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 daily during this period.

(STAINLAND ROAD, ELLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works Future Network Solutions intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stainland Road from outside No.350 to outside No.364 for a distance of approximately 71 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via the unaffected part of Stainland Road, Bowling Green Road, Beestonley Lane, Stainland Road, Saddleworth Road, Stainland Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 10th November 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th November 2025. The Order will be in operation between the hours of 08:30 and 18:00 daily during this period.
