High Street, Brechin - Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Loading

What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 20/10/2025, Angus Council made The Angus Council (High Street, Brechin) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Loading) Order 2025, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that sewer works may be undertaken. The Order will come into force on 28/10/2025, from which date it is anticipated that the work will last for a period of 10 days. However, the maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the waiting and loading/unloading of vehicles on the north-east side of High Street, Brechin from a point 110m or thereby south-east of its junction with Swan Street, Brechin (A935) in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 76m or thereby.
