(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Stopping) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing and patching works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th November 2025 to 5th December 2025. Roads subject to prohibition - The Village, between the junctions with Pinch Hill and Hilton Road and Hobbacott Lane, Road From Junction East Of Summerleaze To Hobbacott Lane, Road From Buttsbear Cross To Hobbacott Lane, Coombepark Lane, Road From Howard Lane To Hobbacott Lane, Road From Hobbacott Lane To Hilton Road, Hilton Road and Road From The Square To Underlane for their entire lengths, Bude. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Bude. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Roads subject to stopping prohibition - The Village, between the junctions with Pinch Hill and Hilton Road and Hobbacott Lane, Road From Junction East Of Summerleaze To Hobbacott Lane, Road From Buttsbear Cross To Hobbacott Lane, Coombepark Lane, Road From Howard Lane To Hobbacott Lane, Road From Hobbacott Lane To Hilton Road, Hilton Road and Road From The Square To Underlane for their entire lengths, Bude. The prohibitions will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only. An alternative route will be signed on site. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 27th October 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Widemouth Bay. This prohibition is necessary for carriageway surface repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 10th November 2025 to 21st November 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only. Roads affected - Road From Marine Drive To Coppathorne, Widemouth Bay, Bude for its entire length, Marine Drive, Widemouth Bay, Bude between the junctions with Leverlake Road and Coast Road and Coast Road, Bude between the junction with Marine Drive and property known as Brocksmoor. This prohibition is necessary for road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th November 2025 to 29th November 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.
