What is happening?
Temporary Orders The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Road From Delaware Road To Parkers Green and Road From Station Road To Parkers Green, Gunnislake) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Gunnislake. This prohibition is necessary for ducting and cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th November 2025 to 28th November 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only. Roads affected - Road From Delaware Road To Parkers Green, North Dimson, Gunnislake between grid references SX 42205 71906 and SX 42713 71810 and Road From Station Road To Parkers Green, Middle Dimson, Gunnislake between grid reference SX 42713 71810 and property known as Chantmarle An alternative route will be signed on site. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Polperro. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th November 2025 to 26th November 2025. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Looe. This prohibition is necessary for essential tree works and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th November 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1700, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From Sclerder Lane To Porthallow, Porthallow, Looe between property known as Herdsmans Cottage and grid reference SX 22535 51950. An alternative route will be signed on site. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Upton Cross. This prohibition is necessary for telecoms infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th November 2025 to 8th December 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From Plusha Bridge Cottage To Junction South Of Pendowrie, Upton Cross between the junctions with the 83254 between Port Lane and Tremabe Lane and Lower Tokenbury Road.
