What is happening?
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
Mynydd Isa
The Flintshire County Council hereby intends not sooner than 7 days from the 17th October 2025 to make an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in Mold Road Service Road, between its junctions with Alyndale Avenue and A549 Mold Road in Mynydd Isa in the County of Flintshire.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate gas mains replacement works with associated works by Wales and West Utilities.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on 3rd November 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter. The road will be closed for 3 weeks or until earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.

CARMEL
The Flintshire County Council hereby intends not sooner than 7 days from the 17th October 2025 to make an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in Carmel Road, between its junctions with A5026 and Celyn Lane in Carmel in the County of Flintshire.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate gas mains replacement works with associated works by Wales and West Utilities.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on 31st October 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter. The road will be closed for 6 weeks or until earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
HENDRE
Flintshire County Council has made an Order which prohibits any vehicle or pedestrians from proceeding in an unnamed road between its junctions with A541 Denbigh Road, and Hendre Farm, Hendre in the County of Flintshire.
The reason for the closure is due to highway safety following a land slide.
The alternative route for vehicles and pedestrians affected by the closure will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access to any premises situated on or adjacent to the road, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from, the road will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
The Order comes into force on 20th October 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter. The road will be closed for six months or until earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.

THE FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (20MPH, 30MPH, 40MPH, 50MPH AND NATIONAL SPEED LIMITS. RESTRICTED AND DERESTRICTED ROADS) (A550, HAWARDEN) (RESTRICTED ROAD AND 40MPH SPEED LIMIT) (AMENDMENT NO. 16) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that on the 14th October 2025, Flintshire County Council made an Order in exercise of its powers under Sections 82 (2) (a) and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which is to amend The Flintshire County Council (Various Roads) (20mph, 30mph, 40mph, 50mph and National Speed Limits. Restricted and Derestricted Roads) Order 2023, so as:
a) To impose a 20mph (Restricted Road) speed limit on the:
A550, Hawarden:
From its junction with the B5125 Glynne Way, Hawarden for a distance of 230 metres in a southerly direction.
b) To extend the existing speed limit of 40mph on the:
A550, Hawarden:
From a point 230 metres south of its junction with the B5125 Glynne Way, Hawarden for a distance of 135 metres in a southerly direction.
In all other respects the present provisions of The Flintshire County Council (Various Roads) (20mph, 30mph, 40mph, 50mph and National Speed Limits. Restricted and Derestricted Roads) Order 2023 will remain in force.

Notice is hereby given that on the 14th October 2025 Flintshire County Council (“the Council”) have made an Order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (‘the 1984 Act’) and The Traffic Management Act 2004 (“the 2004 act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to amend:
The Flintshire County Council (Off-Street Parking Places – Mold) (Civil Enforcement) Order 2018 and The Flintshire County Council (Off-Street Parking Places – Mold) (Civil Enforcement) (Amendment No. 1) Order 2022

Schedule 2A contained within The Flintshire County Council (Off-Street Parking Places – Mold) (Amendment No. 1) Order 2022 shall be amended, to combine the daytime / evening charging periods to allow for one single payment to be made which will cover between 8am and 10pm within the Main Entrance Car Park, County Hall and Multi-Storey Car Park, County Hall, Mold.
In all other respects the present provisions of the above Orders will remain in force.
