Middle White Close, Temporary Road Closure Due To Utility Works
What is happening?
WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS COUNCIL (MIDDLE WHITE CLOSE, BARROW IN FURNESS) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the Middle White Close, from its junction with Mill Bank, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 50 metres.
There is no suitable alternative route available for vehicles.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 6th November 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 5 days and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
