What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF HARROW

The Harrow (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Amendment No. 156) Traffic Order 2025 and The Harrow (Parking Places) (Amendment No. 50) Traffic Order 2025

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Harrow have made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

  2. The general effect of the Orders will be to revoke resident permit parking places and reinstate waiting restrictions in certain lengths of roads as shown in the Schedule below to allow for vehicle crossovers to private properties.

  3. A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on 24th October 2025, a map of the relevant area and of relevant previous Orders can be inspected until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Sunday, excluding Bank Holidays, until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

  4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the date on which these Orders were made, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
