What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Cambridge Crescent, Teddington. (Reference 25/183)

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate utility repair works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Cambridge Crescent, Teddington.

  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Cambridge Crescent, Teddington from outside number 67 to 69.

  3. Whilst Cambridge Crescent, Teddington is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Cambridge Crescent, Cambridge Road and vice versa.

  4. The order will come into effect on 27 October 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 27 October to 05 November 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

  5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

  6. Nothing in the Order applies to: (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

  7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Elm Bank Gardens, Barnes. (Reference 25/189)

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Crane Operation works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Elm Bank Gardens, Barnes.

  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Elm Bank Gardens, Barnes from outside number 22 to 40 Elm Bank Gardens.

  3. Whilst Elm Bank Gardens, Barnes is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Elm Bank Gardens, The Terrace and vice versa.

  4. The order will come into effect on 29 October 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 29 October to 05 November 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

  5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

  6. Nothing in the Order applies to: (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate utility works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Holly Road, Twickenham.

  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Holly Road, Twickenham from outside number 94 Holly Road to the junction with Queens Road.

  3. Whilst Holly Road, Twickenham is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Holly Road, Queens Road, Station Road and Copthall Gardens.

  4. The order will come into effect on 27 October 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 27 October to 28 October 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

  5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

  6. Nothing in the Order applies to: (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Cresswell Road, Twickenham.

  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Cresswell Road, Twickenham from the junction with Richmond Road to outside number 1 Cresswell Road. Cresswell Road will become two-way and also Denton Road will become two-way from the junction with Cambridge Road to the junction with Cresswell Road.

  3. Whilst Cresswell Road, Twickenham is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Richmond Road, Cambridge Road, Denton Road and Cresswell Road.

  4. The order will come into effect on 20 October 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 20 October to 21 October 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

  5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

  6. Nothing in the Order applies to: (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas connection works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Holly Road, Twickenham.

  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Holly Road, Twickenham outside numbers 106-112. Whilst Holly Road is affected, two-way working will be maintained from the junction with Queens Road to the junction with Copthall Gardens.

  3. Whilst Holly Road, Twickenham is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Queens Road, Station Road and Copthall Gardens.

  4. The order will come into effect on 21 October 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 21 October to 23 October 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

  5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

  6. Nothing in the Order applies to: (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

  7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas connection works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Lower Teddington Road, Hampton Wick.

  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Lower Teddington Road, Hampton Wick from outside number 34 to the junction with the High Street.

  3. Whilst Lower Teddington Road, Hampton Wick is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Lower Teddington Road, Normansfield Avenue, Upper Teddington Road, High Street and vice versa.

  4. The order will come into effect on 27 October 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 27 October to 28 October 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

  5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

  6. Nothing in the Order applies to: (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
