What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

MEADOWS RISE, WYMONDHAM

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 17/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of

5 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Cadent Gas to undertake a utility installation in the highway. T here is no diversion route at this location.

VARIOUS ROADS, STAPLEFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 17/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of 4 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 88 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake mains renewal works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

SCHEDULE 1

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

Stapleford Rd for its entire length, Holygate Rd from the Stapleford Rd boundary up to the access into Holygate Farm, Wyfordby Ln from the access into Stapleford Manor & the Stapleford Rd Jct – Stapleford.

KIRBY LANE, EYE KETTLEBY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 18/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway surface repair works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Kirby Ln, B6047, Leicester Rd A607, Great Dalby Rd, Kirby Bellars & vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 19/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of

1 week. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Severn Trent Water to carry out service apparatus repair & maintenance works in the highway. The proposed diversion route will be via: Church Ln, A52, Main St & vice versa.

3 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Cadent Gas to undertake a utility connection installation in the highway. The proposed diversion route will be via: Mill Ln, East End, The Sands, Minor Rd From The Sands To Mill Ln & vice versa.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 23/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of 8 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 days to allow AVOVE on behalf of Severn Trent Water to undertake a utility connection installation. The proposed diversion route will be via: A607, B676, Sproxton Ln, Buckminster; Buckminster Rd, Main St, Saltby Rd, Sproxton; Sproxton Rd, Croxton Rd, Salby; Saltby Rd, Croxton & vice versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

STATION LANE, KIRBY BELLARS

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 01/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of 1 week. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Network Rail to undertake level crossing maintenance. The proposed diversion route will be via: Station Ln, Main Rd, Leicester Rd, Kirby Bellars; Leicester Rd & Wilton Rd A607, Asfordby Rd, Melton Mowbray; A6006, Main Rd, Main St, Asfordby; Station Ln, Kirby Bellars & vice versa.

SKERRY LANE, MUSTON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 28/10/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Network Rail to undertake a bridge structural inspection. There is no diversion route available at this location.

BRIDLEWAY G36A, HOSE

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025 EXTENSION NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by the Leicestershire County Council on 17/04/2025 and which came into effect on 30/04/2025 will be continued in force until 30/04/2027 or until the works have been completed. The effect of the Order is to continue to allow for the closure of that length of bridleway as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice. The bridleway is being closed for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council to continue to make safe & repair a collapsed bridge on the bridleway.
