PART OF OLD WARREN VALE RAWMARSH ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of the middle access road from Warren Vale to Old Warren Vale situated approximately 527m north of the northern kerb line of Kilnhurst Road from Wednesday 29th. October until Friday 31st. October 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via the two other most southern junctions with Thorogate and the most northern junction with Warren Vale. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecom works).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TURNING MANOEUVRES)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from carrying out the turning manoeuvres specified in the Schedule to this notice from Saturday 25th. October until Sunday 2nd. November 2025.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Renewal of water main).
SCHEDULE
(i) To prohibit any vehicle travelling south along Forge Way from turning right into A633 Rotherham Road/Rawmarsh Road (the alternative route will be via A633 Rotherham Road eastbound, U turn at Retail World Roundabout and A633 Rotherham Road westbound).
(ii) To prohibit any vehicle travelling west along A633 Rotherham Road from turning left into Forge Way (the alternative route will be via A633 Rawmarsh Road, St. Anns Road southbound, U turn at Grafton Bridge Roundabout, St. Anns Road northbound and A633 Rawmarsh Road).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Larch Road between properties 47 and 51 Larch Road from Monday 27th. October until Sunday 2nd. November 2025.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, the road is a cul de sac. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (new sewer connection).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council proposes to make an Order under
Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be to impose changes to the speed limit affecting the road specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
A copy of the proposed Order, a map relating to it and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Rotherham Borough Council, Riverside House, Main Street, Rotherham S60 1AE

(BUS GATE) ORDER 2025
West Street and Montgomery Road Wath Upon Dearne Rotherham NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council acting in its capacity as highway authority for the Borough of Rotherham has made the above-mentioned Order on the 10th. October 2025 which comes into effect on the 27th. October 2025. Notice of the proposal for making the Order was published in the Rotherham Advertiser on the 3rd. April 2025. The effect of the order if implemented will to introduce the prohibition of all motor vehicles and pedal cycles other than a local bus to enter, proceed or wait in the parts of road specified in the
Schedule to this notice;
Interpretation
1. Except where the context otherwise requires, any reference in this Notice to a numbered Article is a reference to the Article bearing that number in this Order and any reference to a numbered Schedule is a reference to the Schedule bearing that number in this Order.
2. In this Notice except where the context otherwise requires the following expressions have the meanings hereby respectively assigned to them:-“bus gate” means a road or part of a road with access permitted only for buses “pedal cycle” has the same meaning as in Regulation of the 2002 Regulations. “local bus” means a public service vehicle which is being operated for the purposes of a local service within the meaning of the Transport “the 2002 Regulations” means the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002

The prohibitions will not apply to:
a) local bus.
b) a vehicle being used for Fire and Rescue, Ambulance or Police purposes during the course of an emergency.
c) anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable in uniform or with the permission of a Civil Enforcement Officer.
d) a vehicle which is being used for one or more of the following purposes and which cannot reasonably be used for such a purpose without entering or being in the bus gate:
(i) any operation involving building, demolition or excavation;
(ii) the removal of any obstruction to traffic;
(iii) the maintenance (including winter gritting), improvement or repair of the road;
(iv) constructing, improving, maintaining, or cleaning of any street furniture; or
(v) the laying, erection, alteration, repair or cleaning of any sewer or of any main pipe or apparatus for the supply of gas, water or electricity, or of any telecommunications apparatus kept or installed for the purposes of a telecommunications code system or of any other telecommunications apparatus lawfully kept installed in any position. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or its provisions on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended or that a requirement of that Act or of any relevant regulations made there under has not been complied with in any way, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for that purpose to the High Court.

November until Friday 7th. November 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via local neighbouring streets.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Carriageway resurfacing).
