Eildon Village / Melrose / Lauder - Temporary Road Closures
What is happening?
(D22/4 EILDON VILLAGE)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (D22/4 Eildon Village) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 27 October 2025 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:00 and 21:00. The Order is required for Scottish Water ironworks repair. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D22/4 at Eildon Village. The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the D22/4, D23/4, D190/4 and D22/4 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. (MARKET SQUARE, MELROSE)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) NO 2 ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (Market Square, Melrose) (Temporary Closing) No 2 Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 1 November 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 3 November 2025. The Order is required for Scottish Water works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6361 at Market Square, Melrose. The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the B6361 Abbey Street, Annay Road, Main Street, A6091, B6374 High Road, East Port and Market Square to the point of closure. (FACTOR’S PARK, LAUDER)
( TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (Factor’s Park, Lauder) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 27 October 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 30 October 2025 between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 each evening and will only be in effect when appropriate traffic signs are displayed on the affected lengths of road. The Order is required for Go Fibre works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Factor’s Park, Lauder. The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Factors Park, Mill Wynd, Mid Row, East High Street and Factors Park to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
