(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because footway resurfacing works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway; Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Spen Crescent in the Kirkstall Ward. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. Access will be available from one end of Spen Crescent, coming from Spen Approach (dependent on the progress of the works). One side of the footway to be open throughout their duration. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 3rd November 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 6th February 2026. The closure will be in place between 09:30 and 15:30 hours on weekdays only.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because sewer and surface water connection works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Old Lane, Drighlington, Leeds in the Morley North Ward, from a point 20 metres away from property numbers 28/30 Old Lane to a point near 34 Old Lane. The closure will be in place between 08:00 hours and 17:00 hours each day. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 3rd November 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Monday 10th November 2025.

(Temporary One-Way Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas main replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Low Moor Side Lane, Wortley; at its exit onto Whitehall Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Burnt Side Road, Back Lane & Whitehall Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 11th November 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas mains replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Leopold Street, Chapeltown, from its junction with Spencer Place to the side of Chapeltown Medical Centre; 2. Louis Street, Chapeltown; from its junction with Spencer Place to outside Number 126 Louis Street; 3. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) requiring a site compound; in the interests of public safety Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. (Temporary Traffic Management Measures) Order 2025
(Northern Lights Event at Temple Newsam Leeds)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public, (holding of an event at Temple Newsam Park), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce the following traffic restrictions for the Northern Lights at Temple Newsam Event 2025. 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to use The Elm Walk. 2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle (other than a vehicle requiring access to property on or adjacent to the road) to use a. The full lengths of Gibson Dr; Pickard Crt; Barton Crt; Lennox Gdns; Stewart Cl; Manor Gth; Pendil Cl; Maltby Crt; Manor Cft; Newsam Green Rd. b. Colton Rd; between The Elm Walk and Gibson Dr.
c. Pontefract La; from Junction 45 of the M1, in a generally easterly direction to its end. d. Temple Newsam Rd; from New Temple Gate, in a southerly direction to its end. 3. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait on a. Temple Newsam Rd; from Selby Rd for its entire length b. Irwin App for its entire length. c. (Leeds Definitive Bridleway No.259)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of potential danger to the public arising from bridleway improvement works, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall proceed by foot, cycle or on horseback along Definitive Bridleway Wetherby 39, from the point on the north side of Skelton Lake where the Bridleway branches to east side of Skelton Lake (Easting: 435072, Northing: 430800); continuing along the north and west sides of the Lake for a distance of approximately 856 metres (to Easting: 434625, Northing: 430305). A diversionary route will be available via the unaffected length of Definitive Bridleway Leeds 259, that extends along the east and south sides of Skelton Lake. The Order is intended to commence on 31 October 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months. The closure will be in place 24 hours per day. (Definitive Footpath Leeds No. 114)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025 Extension
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to continuing works to construct road drainage apparatus passing under or near the under mentioned footpath, Leeds City Council, the above-named Order that was made by Leeds City Council on 1 May 2025 and which was due to expire on 6 November 2025, is to remain in force (with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport) until 6 May 2026, or until the completion of the works if earlier. The effect of the Order, as extended, is that no person shall proceed on foot along Definitive Footpath Leeds No. 114, from where it meets the East Leeds Orbital Road, to the development site boundary adjacent to Fawdon Drive, in the Cross Gates and Whinmoor Ward. A diversion for pedestrians is available heading south on Definitive Footpath Leeds 113, then along footpath on Leeds Road and back up the footpath/cycle link adjacent to East Leeds Orbital Route and vice-versa.
