ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(CROOKED BILLET, WIMBLEDON) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate sewer cleaning works in Crooked Billet, SW19; they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in Crooked Billet, the north arm, from its northernmost junction with Woodhayes Road to the common boundary of Nos. 13 and 14 Crooked Billet; or
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
(c) Any designated parking place situated in the road or length or road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that road or length of road.
The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Vehicular traffic affected by:-
(a) the road closure in The Broadway, should proceed via Wimbledon Bridge, Wimbledon Hill Road, Alexandra Road, Gap Road, Haydons Road, Merton High Street, Merton Road and The Broadway;
(b) the one-way working in Queens Road should proceed using Trinity Road and the Broadway.
Nothing in the Order will apply to:-
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes subject to site conditions; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or lengths of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Woodhayes Road.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The Order will come into operation on Tuesday 28th October 2025 and the works are anticipated to be carried out between 7.30pm and 11.30pm that day. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(WIMBLEDON HILL ROAD AND WORPLE ROAD , SW19) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate valve repair works in Wimbledon Hill Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road and in Worple Road.
During the works:-
(a) no person would cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Wimbledon Hill Road other than in a south-east direction;
(b) no person would cause or permit any vehicle proceeding north-eastbound in Worple Road to turn left into Wimbledon Hill Road;
(c) the bus route in Worple Road would be suspended to facilitate an alternate route;
(d) the no right turn prohibition from Worple Road into Wimbledon Hill Road would be suspended.
The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
An alternative route for diverted vehicular traffic would be via The Broadway, Merton Road, Merton High Street, Haydons Road, Burnsford Road, Merton Road, Buckhold Road, Wandsworth High Street, West Hill, Wimbledon Parkside, Parkside and High Street, Wimbledon.
Nothing in the Order would apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions.
The Order would come into operation on Thursday 13th November 2025 and it is anticipated that the works would be completed on Saturday 15th November 2025. However, the Order would remain in force for a period of 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY NO. 30) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate the clearance of vegetation works along Public Right of Way No. 30, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians from entering or proceeding in Public Right of Way No. 30, between Alt Grove and Dundonald Road.
The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any person engaged in the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform.
Pedestrians affected by the footpath closure should proceed by way of Dundonald Road, Hartfield Crescent, Hartfield Road, Wimbledon Bridge, Wimbledon Hill Road, St George’s Road and Alt Grove and vice-versa.
The Order would apply from Monday 10th November 2025 and it is anticipated that works would take place between 8am and 5pm that day. However, the Order would remain in operation for a maximum period of 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(BARON WALK, MITCHAM – PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY NO. 161) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate tram track maintenance adjacent to Baron Walk, also known as Public Right of Way No. 161, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians from entering or proceeding in Baron Walk, between its junction with Morden Road and a point 20 metres north of the tram track.
The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any person engaged in the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform.
Pedestrians affected by the footpath closure should proceed by way of Morden Road, London Road and the London Road playing fields or Church Path (Public Right of Way No. 162), or vice-versa.
The Order will apply from Saturday 25th October 2025 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out until Monday 3rd November 2025. However, the Order will remain in operation for a maximum period of 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(MEOPHAM ROAD AND ROWAN ROAD, SW16) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate electrical connection works in Rowan Road, SW16, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road and restrict vehicular traffic in Meopham Road.
During the works no person will:–
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait in:
(i) Rowan Road, from the common boundary of Nos. 162 and 164 Rowan Road to a point 10 metres north-east of its junction with Meopham Road;
(ii) Meopham Road, from its junction with Rowan Road to the common boundary of Nos. 53 and 55 Meopham Road;
(b) enter or proceed on the eastern footway of Rowan Road adjacent to No. 168 Rowan Road.
Any designated parking place situated in the length of Rowan Road specified in paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.
The restrictions and suspensions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) any person requiring access to No. 168 Rowan Road.
Pedestrians affected by a footway closure should proceed using the adjacent walkway provided.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The Order will come into force on Friday 31st October 2025 and the works are anticipated to be completed by 6th November 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON (TENNYSON ROAD, SW19)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate gas works at the junction of Tennyson Road with Haydons Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
During the works, no person will:–
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Tennyson Road from its junction with Haydons Road eastward for a distance of 40 metres;
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the street or length of street specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.
Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Haydons Road, Caxton Road and Garfield Road, or vice-versa.
The restrictions and suspension will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
Nothing in this Order will apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
The Order will come into force on Monday 20th October 2025 and the works are anticipated to be completed on Friday 7th November 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 12 months should further works be required.
