TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION
An order will be made to introduce temporary restrictions on the below roads, from 27th October 2025 for approximately 5 weeks, on a phase basis
as works progress.
• High Street, Monk Bretton – Temporary one-way restriction between No.8 and Cross Street, allowing traffic to travel towards Cross Street only. An
alternative route is available via Cross Street, Burton Road, High Street.
• High Street, Monk Bretton – Temporary one-way restriction between Burton Road Roundabout and Silverdale Drive, allowing traffic to travel
towards Silverdale Drive from Burton Road Roundabout only. An alternative route is available via High Street, Cross Street, Burton Road.
• St Helens Way, Monk Bretton – Temporary one-way restriction between No.5 and Burton Road Roundabout, allowing traffic to travel from Burton
Road Roundabout only. An alternative route is available via Carnforth Road, King Edward Street, Fish Dam Lane.
• St Helens Way, Monk Bretton – Temporary one-way restriction between Burton Road Roundabout and Sainsburys car park, allowing traffic to travel
from Sainsburys carpark towards Burton Road Roundabout only. An alternative route is available via Fish Dam Lane, King Edward Street, Carnforth
Road, St Helens Way.
