D7011 Wesley, Drive Egham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 22 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic 
Regulation Act 1984 “the Act”, the effect of which will be to prohibit 
vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D7011 Wesley, 
Drive Egham that extends from its junction with C10 Manorcrofts 
Road, to its junction with D7011 Fitzrobert Place. This Traffic Order is 
required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out construction and 
installation of highway improvements, including:- a raised zebra 
crossing, buildouts, road markings, signing and lining and/or surfacing 
and/or maintenance works. It is anticipated that the temporary closure 
will be required to be operational between the hours of 10pm and 6am 
for 5 nights of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary 
Order that commences on 25 October 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure 
will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access 
for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be 
maintained at all times. There is no applicable alternative route for 
vehicular traffic. Advanced notification will be given however in the 
event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under 
Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 
8 hours in any 24-hour period. Access for emergency services in an 
emergency situation will be maintained at all times under direction of 
site operatives/by means of road plates, Access for affected residents 
and businesses will be maintained outside of working hours; during 
working hours residential and business access will be maintained only 
under direction of site operatives at such time safe to do so. Any 
vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be 
removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all 
reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the 
vehicle’s owner.
D6247 Nursery Road, Sunbury On Thames
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 22 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic 
Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles 
from entering or proceeding in that length of D6247 Nursery Road, 
Sunbury On Thames that extends from its junction with C230 Green 
Street, for a distance of 40m. This Traffic Order is required to enable 
Surrey County Council to carry out traffic signal refurbishment and/or 
repair and/or maintenance and/or highway works. These works are 
anticipated to be carried out within 7 days of the 18 month period of 
operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 26 October 
2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary 
closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 
Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will 
be maintained at all times. No sole access to any property will be 
affected. Access for emergency services, residents and businesses 
will be maintained to the point of works via the alternative route:- 
Green Street, Staines Road West, Windmill Road and Nursery Road.
C24 Suffield Lane, Puttenham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 22 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned 
Temporary Order under Section 14(1) the Road Traffic Regulation Act 
1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or 
proceeding in that length of C24 Suffield Lane, Puttenham that 
extends from the eastern property boundary of “The Old Orchard”, to 
the south-eastern property boundary of “Birdshanger”. This Traffic 
Order is required to enable Barr Engineering Services Limited/BT 
Openreach to carry out telegraph pole replacement and/or to carry out 
overhead cabling and/or maintenance works. These works are 
anticipated to be carried out in sections, between the hours of 8am 
and 6pm within 1 day of the 12 month period of operation of this 
Temporary Order that commences on 30 October 2025. Advanced 
warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only 
operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for 
emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians and cyclists 
will be maintained at all times. Access for equestrians will be maintained 
at all times via the alternative route:- Suffield Lane, Cuttmill Road, 
Lombard Street, The Street – Shackleford, Puttenham Lane, Hook Lane, 
The Street – Puttenham, Suffield Lane.
D258 Shere Road, West Horsley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 22 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned 
Temporary Order under Section 14(1) the Road Traffic Regulation Act 
1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or 
proceeding in the entire length of D258 Shere Road, West Horsley. This 
Traffic Order is required to enable Barr Engineering Services Limited/BT 
Openreach to carry out telegraph pole replacement and/or to carry out 
overhead cabling and/or maintenance works in D258 Shere Road, West 
Horsley between its junction with A246 Epsom Road, and the northeastern property boundary of “Pit Cottage”. These works are anticipated 
to be carried out in sections, between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 
1 day of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that 
commences on 30 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be 
displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant 
traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, 
businesses, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. 
Access for equestrians will be maintained at all times via the alternative 
route:- Epsom Road, Guildford Road, Green Dene and Combe Lane.
D6868 D’Abernon Drive, Stoke D’Abernon
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 22 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic 
Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles 
from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D6868 D’Abernon 
Drive, Stoke D’Abernon. This Traffic Order is required to enable 
Thames Water to carry out foul sewer cleaning, CCTV and rehabilitation 
and/or repair and/or maintenance works in the length of D6868 
D’Abernon Drive, that extends between “No.9 and No.21 D’Abernon 
Drive”. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the 
hours of 8am and 6pm within 3 days of the 12 month period of 
operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 05 November 
2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary 
closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 
Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will 
be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services, residents 
and businesses will be maintained to the point of works via the 
alternative route:- D’Abernon Drive – Bray Road – D’Abernon Drive. 
Access to affected properties will be maintained by arrangement 
under direction of site operatives and/or by means of road plates.
D6213 Warren Road, Ashford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 22 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic 
Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles 
from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D6213 Warren 
Road, Ashford. This Traffic Order is required to enable Thames Water to 
expose a buried manhole, bring to ground level and carry out 
replacement of the cover and frame and/or repair and/or maintenance 
works in the length of D6213 Warren Road, that extends from its 
junction with D6213 Alexandra Road for a distance of 20m. These 
works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 
23.59pm within 5 days of the 12 month period of operation of this 
Temporary Order that commences on 03 November 2025. Advanced 
warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is 
anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate 
when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians, 
cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. No sole access 
to property will be affected. Access for emergency services, residents 
and businesses will be maintained to the point of works via the 
alternative route:- Alexandra Road and Warren Road.
Staines Bridge (A308) Staines-Upon-Thames
Temporary Suspension of Traffic Order 2025
On 17 October 2025, Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1), 14(5) and 
14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will 
be to suspend “The Borough of Spelthorne (Staines Bridge and Church 
Street, Staines) (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles) Order 
1987” insofar as it relates to Staines Bridge (A308) Staines-UponThames to allow it to be used as an alternative route during works on 
the M25 and A30.
This Order is required to enable Connect Plus Services to facilitate 
maintenance works and associated works. These works are anticipated 
to be carried out over 1 night, during the 12-month period of operation 
of this Temporary Order that commences on 06 November 2025. 
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary suspension 
will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Parkwood Avenue (D6904) Esher
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 17 October 2025, Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road 
Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit 
vehicles from waiting in that length of Parkwood Avenue (D6904) 
Esher as extends from the southern boundary of the property known 
as “41 Parkwood Avenue” to the northern boundary of the property 
known as “37 Parkwood Avenue”.
This Order is required to enable TSC South Ltd to facilitate construction 
works at 39 Parkwood Avenue and associated works. These works are 
anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation 
of this Temporary Order that commences on 3 November 2025 for 9 
months between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm. Advanced warning 
signs will be displayed and the temporary waiting restriction will only 
operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Shepperton Road (B376) Laleham and Shepperton
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 17 October 2025, Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road 
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), the effect of which will be to 
prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding or waiting in that length 
of Shepperton Road (B376) Laleham and Shepperton as extends from 
its junction with Ferry Lane (D3311) to the roundabout with Littleton 
Lane (C245).
Alternative route – B377 (The Broadway, Ashford Road and Kingston 
Road), A308 (Staines Road West), Ashford Road, Charlton Road, New 
Road, Squires Bridge Road and B376 (Laleham Road), or this route 
in reverse.
This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate carriageway 
works, new signage and associated works. These works are anticipated 
to begin as soon possible within the 18-month period of operation of 
this Order which will commence on 2 November 2025. Advanced 
warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and waiting 
restriction will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 
Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works 
will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable 
methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s 
owner. Access for emergency services, pedestrians, cyclists and 
equestrians will be maintained at all times.
Combe Lane (D153) Godalming
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 22 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned 
Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic 
Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from 
entering or proceeding in that length of Combe Lane (D153) Godalming 
as extends from its junction with (C31) New Road to its junction with 
(X11187) Access to Coopers Place Business Park. Alternative Route: 
New Road, (A283) Petworth Road, Woodside Road, and Combe Lane, or 
this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate overhead 
structural works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are 
anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am 
and 3.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary 
Order that commences on 03 November 2025. Advanced warning signs 
will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the 
relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the 
affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles 
to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on 
site, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Leapale Lane (D4004) Guildford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2025
On 22 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned 
Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic 
Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic 
(including pedestrians and cyclists) from entering or proceeding in that 
length of Leapale Lane (D4004) Guildford as extends from its junction 
with (D4004) College Road to its junction with (D4004) Haydon Place. 
Alternative Route: (1) Leapale Road, North Street, (A320) Chertsey 
Street, Martyr Road, and Haydon Place; (2) Leapale Lane, Haydon Place, 
Martyr Road, (A320) Chertsey Street, North Street, Woodbridge Road, 
and Leapale Road. This Order is required to facilitate removal and 
replacement of cladding works, with the use of a cherry picker for, or on 
behalf of Bowmer and Kirkland. These works are anticipated to be 
carried out over 21 weeks, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during 
the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 
03 November 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the 
temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per 
day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Due 
to the nature of the works, there will be no access through the closure 
while works are in place, and all traffic will be required to use the signed 
diversion route. Pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be assisted by 
the banksmen on site. No sole access will be affected by this closure.
C31 Iron Lane/C31 Munstead Heath Road/D202 Foxburrow 
Hill Road, Bramley and D276 Coophurst Lane, Ewhurst
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 22 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned 
Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of and Part IV of Schedule 
9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of 
which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles, including cyclists, from entering 
or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this 
Notice; and (b) revoke “Surrey County Council Various in Waverley 
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.7) 2024” insofar as it relates 
to the entire length of Iron Lane only. This Order is required to enable 
Surrey County Council to facilitate surface dressing/pre-patching 
works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be 
completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation 
of this Order which will commence on 27 October 2025. Advanced 
warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only 
operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that 
it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the 
Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 
24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway 
during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the 
limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken 
to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access to premises within 
the affected length of road, including access for emergency service 
vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and 
if necessary via the signed diversion route. Access for pedestrians will 
be permitted by the gatemen when safe to do so. Access for cyclists 
will not be maintained and will be required to follow the signed 
diversion route/directed by the gatemen on-site.

Munstead Heath Road which extends from its junction with C31 Iron 
Lane southwards for a distance of 75m; and (c) that length of D202 
Foxburrow Hill Road which extends from its junction with C31 Iron Lane 
northwards for a distance of 75m. Alternative Route – C31 Munstead 
Heath Road, B2130 Brighton Road, A3100 Flambard Way, A3100 
Bridge Road, A3100 Meadrow, A3100 Old Portsmouth Road, A248

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.6) 2025
On 22 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned 
Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of and Part IV of Schedule 
9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of 
which will be to prohibit vehicles, including cyclists, from entering or 
proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this 
Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to 
facilitate surface dressing and/or major maintenance works, which is 
anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month 
period of operation of this Order which will commence on 27 October 
2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary 
closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 
In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time 
under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum 
of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned 
Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 
1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or 
proceeding in that length of:- a) A322 Onslow Street, Guildford that 
extends from its junction with C93 Woodbridge Road (southbound), to its 
junction with C93 Woodbridge Road (northbound). b) C93 Woodbridge 
Road (southbound), Guildford that extends from its junction with A322 
Onslow Street, to the north-western property of “College House”. This 
Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to recut EZ 
Traffic Signals Loop to improve efficiency and/or carry out traffic signal 
refurbishment/repair and/or maintenance and/or highway works. These 
works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8pm and 
5am within 1 night of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary 
Order that commences on 10 November 2025. Advanced warning signs 
will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the 
relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, 
dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. No 
sole access to any property will be affected. Access for emergency 
services, residents and businesses will be maintained to the point of 
works via the alternative route:- Onslow Street S/B At Woodbridge Road, 
continue along Onslow Street, turn left onto North Street, then left on to 
Commercial Road to rejoin at Woodbridge Road.
Grove Road (D4009) Guildford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned 
Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic 
Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles 
from entering or proceeding in that length of Grove Road (D4009) 
Guildford as extends from its junction with High Path Road (D4009) to 
the eastern boundary of the property known as “87 High Path Road”.
Alternative route – Grove Road, Epsom Road (A25) and High Path 
Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Network Plus to facilitate domestic 
supply works and associated works. These works are anticipated to 
be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this 
Temporary Order that commences on 18 November 2025 for 4 days 
between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs 
will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be 
in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant 
traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted 
cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Lower House Road (D140) Bowlhead Green
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary 
Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 
the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or 
proceeding in the entire length of Lower House Road (D140) Bowlhead 
Green. This Order is required to facilitate new water connection works 
for, or on behalf of South East Water. These works are anticipated to be 
carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm within the 
12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 17 
November 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the 
temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per 
day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 
Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all 
times. Due to the nature of the woks there will be no access through the 
closure. There is no alternative route for this closure. The Council are 
satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, 
vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, 
or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger 
to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the 
likelihood of any such danger arising.
