What is happening?

CITY OF DONCASTER COUNCIL

High Road Warmsworth Road A1m Roundabout, Warmsworth
from its junction with A1m Junction 36 to Junction 35 on Slip in a
westerly direction to its junction with the A1m Junction 35 to
Junction 36 off Slip.
Dates and Times
On or after 21:00hrs 9th November 2025 until 06:00hrs 17th
November 2025.
Sunday evenings only between 21:00hrs and 05:00hrs. The
road will reopen daily
Diversion Routes
Non Motorway - Warmsworth Road, Hall Flat Lane, Springwell
Lane, Broomhouse Lane, Edlington Lane, High Road.
Motorway only - A1m Junction 36 to Junction 35, A1m
southbound to M18 Wadworth Roundabout Interchange Link
Road, M18 Motorway Wadworth Roundabout Interchange, M18
Wadworth Roundabout Interchange to A1m Northbound Link
Road, A1m Junction 35 to Junction 36, A1m Junction 35 to
Junction 36 Off Slip.

(AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
proposes to make an Order under the provisions of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce a No waiting at any
time restriction on the following lengths of road:-
Lyndale Avenue, Edenthorpe
Both sides
(i) From its junction with the eastern kerb line of Thorne Road
for a distance of 15 metres in a south easterly direction
Thorne Road, Edenthorpe
East side
(i) From a point 19 metres north east of its junction with the
northern kerb line of Lyndale Avenue for a distance of 40 metres
in a south westerly direction
Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of
picking up and setting down passengers, loading and unloading
goods and in connection with building industrial or demolition
operations, the removal of obstructions to traffic, the
maintenance of the roads and the services therein in pursuance
of statutory powers or duties, for the collection and delivery of
postal packets or if it is a vehicle being operated by or on behalf
of the South Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnerships while
carrying out roadside monitoring or enforcement operations. The
usual exceptions for disabled persons vehicles will also apply.
A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing the
restricted roads and a statement of the Councils reasons for
proposing to make the Order may be examined at the Council
Office, Civic Office, Waterdale Doncaster between the hours of 9
am and 4.30 pm or on the City of Doncaster Council Website via

for a distance of 15 metres in a southerly direction
Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of
picking up and setting down passengers, loading and unloading
