PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(BIRMINGHAM NEW ROAD SERVICE ROAD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on Birmingham New Road Service Road in
both directions from its junctions with Hateley Drive to
Crabtree Close.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken on 3rd November 2025, between the
hours of 09:30 and 15:30.
The diversion route is: Birmingham New Road,
Lawnswood Avenue, Hateley Drive & vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate a new service
connection by BT.
