What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(CRADDOCK STREET)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Craddock Street in both directions from its junction with Jackson Street to
outside Gills Bar & Banqueting.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken on 3 November 2025, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30.
The diversion route is: Jackson Street, Lowe Street, Dunstall Road, Waterloo Road, Newhampton Road East, Newhampton Road West, Hunter Street, and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the placement of a telecoms pole by O2 Uk Limited.
