What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(GROSVENOR ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Grosvenor Road
from the junction of School Lane to outside property no 31.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 08:00 on 3 November 2025 until 16:30 on
14 November 2025.
The diversion route is: School Lane, Alleston Road,
Grosvenor Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the connection of water
services as part of Wolverhampton Homes redevelopment
scheme by DSS Civils Ltd.
