PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD
TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council intend, not less than seven
days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act
1991 because works are being or proposed to be executed on or near the road and
the effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Cow House
Lane at Armthorpe in the City of Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this
notice on the dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst works
to repair a waste water pipe are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via
Cow House Lane, Nutwell Lane, Wickett Hern Road, Holme Wood Lane. Those
residents and businesses directly affected by the works will be notified of the scheme
and access arrangements.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including the 14th day of
November 2025 or until the works which it is proposed to carry out in or near the said

Cow House Lane, Armthorpe from its junction with Ruskin Drive for a distance of 140
meters in a northerly direction.
