What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(CALEDONIA STREET) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Caledonia Street
in both directions from its junction with Wellington Road to
outside property 1.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 3 November 2025 until 11 November 2025.
The diversion route is: Mountford Lane, Mount Pleasant,
Wellington Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate a new service connection
by Cadent.
