Ashcroft Drive - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
ASHCROFT DRIVE, OLD WHITTINGTON
WHEN: 07 November to 13 November 2025 (08:00 to 16:00 each day)
WHERE: Ashcroft Drive, Old Whittington between Oak Bank Avenue and its Jct. with Station lane.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway repair works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Station Lane, B6052 High Street, Oak Bank Avenue and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
