What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A616 MANSFIELD ROAD, CRESWELL
WHEN: 10 November to 12 November 2025 (19:00 to 06:00 each night)
WHERE: A616 Mansfield Road, Creswell between its Jct. with the B6042 for a distance of 550m in a southerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching / resurfacing works. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A616 to Clowne, A618, A619, A60 to Cuckney and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
