Duchess Street - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
DUCHESS STREET, CRESWELL
WHEN: 07 November 2025 (07:00 to 18:00)
WHERE: Duchess Street, Creswell between its Jct. with the A616 Mansfield Road to its Jct. with Morven Street, including the Jct. with Duke Street.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching / resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Morven Street, Welbeck Street, Elmton Road, A616 Mansfield Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
