1. Southwark Council hereby GIVES NOTICE that it proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The effects of the Orders, making changes in ANN MOSS WAY as part of the redevelopment of the site of ‘former St Olaves Nursing Home’, in Controlled Parking Zone (‘CPZ’) 'S', would be to:- (a) north-east side opposite Nos. 22-26 (evens) Ann Moss Way reduce in length by 10 metres (‘m’) an existing CPZ ‘S’ permit-holders’ only parking place (15m of this parking bay would remain), and install a new loading only place 12m in length and 2.7m in width, for the purpose of loading and unloading only, which will operate Monday to Saturday between the hours of 08.30 am and 06.30 pm (40 minutes maximum stay, no return within 2 hours); (b) north-east side opposite No. 22 Ann Moss Way reduce existing ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions (double yellow lines ‘DYLs’) by 2m to accommodate the new loading bay (as described above); and
(c) north-west side opposite the side of No. 29 Ann Moss Way remove 12m of existing ‘DYLs’ and install a new 12m in length CPZ ‘S’ permit-holders’ only parking place.
NOTES: (1) permit-holders’ only refers to parking places for holders’ of valid parking permits within the Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) listed. (2) ‘DYLs’ refer to 'at any time' (operational every day of the week) waiting restrictions. (3) All measurements are in metres ‘m’ and are approximate. (4) Parking charges are listed on www.southwark.gov.uk/parking
