What is happening?
Temporary Closure of Dulcote Hill Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under
Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as
amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from
proceeding along Dulcote Hill Lane - from the junction with
Upper Wellesley Lane, south-eastwards for a total
distance of 858 metres. This Order will enable Openreach
to carry out pole replacement works.
The Order becomes effective on 23rd October 2025 and
will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected
to commence on 29th October 2025 and last until
29th October 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for
a total of 6 hours.

a) because works are being or are proposed to be

likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage
to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
