Somerset Council Parishes of South Cadbury and Sutton Montis, and North Cadbury Temporary Closure of Parish Hill and Cary Road
What is happening?
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under
Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as
amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from
proceeding along Parish Hill - from the junction with
Ridgway Lane to the junction with Orchard Lane and
Cary Road - from the junction with High Road to the
junction with Ridgway Lane. A total distance of 2502
metres. This Order will enable Kiely Bros to carry out presurface dressing patching works on behalf of Somerset
Highways. Solid diamond symbolization will be used on
the diversion route and will not clash with any other Kiely
Bros works within the area. The Order becomes effective
on 23rd October 2025 and will remain in force for
18 months. The works are expected to commence on
27th October 2025 and last until 10th November 2025
between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00 for a total of 15 days.
