Rosebery Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Gas Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL ROSEBERY ROAD, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works proposed to be executed on or near Rosebery Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Rosebery Road from its junction with Oak Avenue to a point outside No. 23 Rosebery Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Rosebery Avenue (unaffected section), Skinner Lane, St Mary's Road, Oak Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 27th of October 2025 and remain in force until 23:55 hours on the 7th of November 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
