Notice of Intention

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable highway improvement works by a council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

   • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Harcourt Road for the entire length up to the junction with Broadway, Bexleyheath

   • No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) in Harcourt Road for the entire length up to the junction with Broadway, Bexleyheath

   • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Porthkerry Avenue from the junction with Hook Lane to the junction with Merlin Road, Welling

   • No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) in Porthkerry Avenue from the junction with Hook Lane to the junction with Merlin Road, Welling

2. The Order will come into effect on 29 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.

3.  Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,

   • Porthkerry Avenue diversions

   Merlin Road North, Hook Lane and reverse

   Dansington Road, Selwyn Crescent, Danson Crescent, Hook Lane and reverse

   • Access to Harcourt Road at all Times

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

   • Prohibition of traffic on Carisbrooke Avenue, Bexley from the junction with Eynsford Crescent to the junction with Cotleigh Avenue, Bexley

   • Prohibition of traffic on Stansted Crescent, Bexley at the junction with Carisbrooke Avenue, Bexley

   • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Carisbrooke Avenue, Bexley from the junction with Eynsford Crescent to the junction with Cotleigh Avenue, Bexley

   • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Stansted Crescent at the junction with Carisbrooke Avenue, Bexley
   
   

2. The Order will come into effect on 22 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

   Carisbrooke Avenue

   Carisbrooke Avenue, Hurst Road, Eynsford Crescent and reverse

   Stanstead Crescent

   No diversion as closure at the junction of Carisbrooke Avenue, Bexley

4.  Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

1. • Prohibition of traffic on Dulverton Road, Eltham from the junction with Agaton Road to the junction with Brendon Road, Eltham

   • Prohibition of traffic on Agaton Road, Eltham from the junction with Brendon Road to the junction with Dulverton Road, Eltham

   • Prohibition of traffic on Ermington Road, Eltham on the junction with Agaton Road, Eltham

   • Prohibition of traffic on Brendon Road, Eltham at the junction with Agaton Road, Eltham

   • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition as set out in Schedule One of this Order.

   Restrictions to be removed when not required.

2.  The Order will come into effect on 27 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 days. 

3.  Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

   • Agaton Road Closure

     Brendon Road, Dulverton Road, and reverse

   • Dulverton Road Closure

     Agaton Road, Brendon Road, and reverse

   • Ermington Road and Brendon Road

   • No access into Agaton Road use localised diversions.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

   • Waiting restriction and Loading restrictions on Harold Avenue, Belvedere entire road both sides of the carriageway.

2. The Order will come into effect on 27 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

Notice of Making an Order

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable SMOP Clean Tech on behalf of Aurora Utilities to install electrical ducting to feed new commercial site, the effects of which will be the introduction of: 

   • Prohibition of traffic on Crayford Creek Road, Crayford from railway bridge to the junction with Thames Road, Crayford

   • Removal of the no entry restriction and one way restriction allowing two-way traffic in Thames Road to Footpath 25 Byway 103

   • Speed Deduction on Thames Road from 40mph to 30mph.

     Restrictions to be removed when not required.

2. The Order will come into effect on 17 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be provided.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable SMOP Clean Tech on behalf of Aurora Utilities to install electrical ducting to feed new commercial site, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

   • Prohibition of traffic on the side of the dual carriageway closest to Crayford Creek Road – closed from the roundabout with Crayford Way to the roundabout with Kennet Road under Phase 1

   • Prohibition of traffic on the side of the dual carriageway closest to Iron Mill Lane to be closed from the roundabout with Crayford Way to the roundabout with Kennet Road under Phase 2

   Restrictions will be removed when not required.

2. The Order will come into effect on 17 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 8 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

   Thames Road, - Bob Dunn Way - A282 / JA206/B3228 leave north to dedicated slip for A206, Dartford - Junction 1A Slip North Off Dartford - Dartford Tunnel Approach Road, Dartford, South Orbital slip North on, Darenth -A2 M25/A282 Leave East, Dartford– Dartford Bypass, Sutton at Home – East Rochester Way, Bexley – Southwold Road, Bexley – Bourne Road, Crayford – London Road, Crayford – Roman Way, Crayford – Crayford Road, Crayford – Crayford High Street – Perry Street, Crayford – Thames Road, and reverse.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

   • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Beechcroft Avenue from the junction with Fairford Avenue to outside and opposite 86 and 99 Beechcroft Avenue

2. The Order will come into effect on 25 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities Ltd on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

   •  Prohibition of traffic on the entire length of Barnehurst Close, Bexleyheath

   •  Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition the entire length of Barnehurst Close, Bexleyheath, both sides of the carriageway.

   Restrictions to be removed when not required.

2. The Order will come into effect on 20 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress, no alternative route will be provided; however, access will always be maintained for vehicles and emergency services.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
