THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (A638 GREAT NORTH ROAD, BARNBY MOOR) (30 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) AND (RESTRICTED ROAD) ORDER 2025 (1315) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Barnby Moor in the Bassetlaw District in the County of Nottinghamshire. 1. The length of road specified in Schedule 1 of this Order shall be a Restricted Road (30mph) for the purposes of Section 81 of the Act. 2. No person shall drive any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour on that length of road specified in Schedule 2 of this Order. SCHEDULE 1 A638 GREAT NORTH ROAD, BARNBY MOOR From a point 30 metres south-east of its junction with Station Road in a north-westerly direction to a point 35 metres north of its junction with Retford Road (approximately 912 metres). SCHEDULE 2 A638 GREAT NORTH ROAD, BARNBY MOOR From a point 35 metres north of its junction with Retford Road in a northerly direction for 229 metres. (b) Retford Library, Churchgate, Retford, Nottinghamshire, DN22 6PE Or can be viewed online by visiting the County Council's website (consult.nottinghamshire.gov.uk) THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON THE FRIDAY 24TH OCTOBER 2025 In order to align the Barnby Moor village speed limit with government policy, the existing 40mph Speed Limit along the A638 Great North Road, Barnby Moor has been changed to a 30mph Speed Limit.
