What is happening?
(CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS REVIEW 2024B) ORDER 202*
Reading Borough Council under Sections 1, 2, 32, 35, 53, 122(1) and 122(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act as amended proposes to make the above Order.
The general nature and effect of the Order will be to designate free and paid for on street parking places and introduce waiting and loading restrictions as specified in the schedules below:
SCHEDULE 1: No Waiting at any time
Armour Hill, south side: From a point 8m northwest of its Jctn with Armour Walk to a point 20m southeast of that point.
Victoria Rd, both sides: From its Jctn with Westwood Rd to a point 24m east of that Jctn.
Recreation Rd, north side: From a point 30m southeast of its Jctn with School Rd to a point 55m southeast of that point.
Aylsham Close, east side: From its Jctn with Dalton Close to a point 12m north of that Jctn.
Aylsham Close, east side: From its Jctn with Dalton Close to a point 10m south of that Jctn.
Dalton Close, north side: From its Jctn with Aylsham Close to a point 4m east of that Jctn.
Dalton Close, south side: From its Jctn with Aylsham Close to a point 11m east of that Jctn.
Dulnan Close, both sides: For its entire length
Beresford Rd, east side: From a point 12m north of its Jctn with Oxford Rd to a point 21m north of that point.
Rufus Isaacs Rd, west side: From its Jctn with Henley Rd to a point 5m south of its Jctn with Waller Court.
Rufus Isaac Rd, east side: From its Jctn with Henley Rd to a point 10m south of its Jctn with Fairfax Close.
Rosenodale Rd, east side: From its Jctn with Henley Rd to a point 10m north of that Jctn.
Rosenodale Rd, west side: From its Jctn with Henley Rd to a point 10m north of that Jctn.
Henley Rd, south side: From a point 25m east of its Jctn with Willow View to a point 17m west of that Jctn.
Willow View, both sides: From its Jctn with Henley Rd to a point 13m south of that Jctn.

Long Barn Lane, north side: From a point 84m southeast of its Jctn with Tavistock Rd to a point 5m south of that point.
Canterbury Rd, both sides: From its Jctn with Northumberland Avenue to a point 14m west of that Jctn.
Mortimer Close, north side: From a point 72m northeast of its Jctn with Shirley Avenue to a point 14m northeast of that point.
Falmouth Rd, south side: From its Jctn with Whitley Wood Lane to a point 24m east of that Jctn.
Falmouth Rd, north side: From its Jctn with Whitley Wood Lane to a point 10m east of that Jctn.
Boulton Rd (eastern leg), west side: From a point 62m south of its Jctn with Cradock Rd to a point 44m south of that point.

Downshire Square, East leg, east side: From its Jctn with Maitland Rd to a point 10m south of that Jctn.

SCHEDULE 2: Shared use 8am–8pm Resident Permit Holders only or 2hrs, no return within 2hrs. At all other times Permit Holders only
Watlington St, east side: From a point 49m south of its north end to a point 20m north of its Jctn with St John’s Rd.
SCHEDULE 3: No Waiting Monday to Saturday 8am–6.30pm
Cradock Rd, north side: From a point 21m west of its Jctn with Basingstoke Rd to a point 15m east of its eastern Jctn with Boulton Rd.
Cradock Rd, west side: From a point 10m west of its Jctn with Oxford Rd to its western end.
Beresford Rd, east side: From a point 33m north of its Jctn with Oxford Rd to a point 12m south of its Jctn with Catherine St.
SCHEDULE 4: No Waiting and No Loading at any time
Elliotts Way, west side: From its Jctn with Gosbrook Rd to a point 36m south of that Jctn.
Elliotts Way, east side: From its Jctn with Gosbrook Rd to a point 44m south of that Jctn.
Malvern Court, west side: From its Jctn with Addington Rd to a point 23m south of that Jctn.
Malvern Court, east side: From its Jctn with Addington Rd to a point 20m south of that Jctn.
SCHEDULE 5: Red Route No Stopping at Any Time Except Loading and Unloading only, 7.30am to 6.00pm, maximum stay 20 minutes
The Forbury, west side: From a point 21m south of its Jctn with Valpy St to a point 33m south of that Jctn.
SCHEDULE 6: Addresses For Issue of Residents Permits
Orts Rd: 2 Church House, Orts Rd to be added to Permit Zone 12R
SCHEDULE 7: Red Route No Stopping at Any Time Except Loading or Unloading Only, Maximum Stay 20 Minutes
Wokingham Rd, northeast side: From a point 81m southeast of its Jctn with Grange Avenue to a point 10m southeast of that point.
SCHEDULE 8: Monday to Friday 8.00am–6.30pm, Waiting limited to 2 hours, return prohibited within 2 hours
Long Barn Lane, north side: From a point 59m southeast of its Jctn with Tavistock Rd to a point 84m southeast of that Jctn.

SCHEDULE 9: No Stopping on School Entrance Markings Monday–Friday 8am to 5pm
