ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC SEAVY ROAD, GOOLE
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the
date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Seavy Road, Goole commencing 3 November 2025 until 8 December 2025 and again from 8 December 2025 until 12 December 2025 at all times to allow for carriageway works.
The road closures are necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with
ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 36 days. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closures will be via Andersen Road, Rawcliffe Road, Boothferry Road, Dunhill Road and Grange Road, Goole CP, Goole South Ward, Goole North Ward. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for emergency vehicles.
