THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY
(UNDEFINED FOOTPATH OFF KEMP HEATON AVENUE, BURY)
TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State has approved that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury may continue in force until 21/04/27 the above Order which was made on 22/04/25 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which is as follows:–
To prohibit any members of the public (including pedestrians, cyclists and horses) from proceeding along:–
Undefined Footpath off Kemp Heaton Avenue, Bury – between Kemp Heaton Avenue & Public Right of Way 68BUR
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate the development of the area for residential use.
The alternative route will be via Bridges Avenue, Tennyson Avenue, Scott Avenue, r/o Nos. 44-84 Tennyson Avenue & Public Right of Way 68BUR & vice-versa
