Court Hill, Temporary Road Closure Due To Ducting Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Taunton Temporary Closure of Court Hill
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Court Hill - from the junction with Princess Road, northeastwards for a total distance of 30 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to provide new ducting.
The Order becomes effective on 30th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 4th November 2025 and last until 4th November 2025 between the hours of 09:00 - 17:00 for a total of 8 hours. There is no alternative route for this closure.
