Fitzhead Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Pole Replacement Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Halse Temporary Closure of Fitzhead Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Fitzhead Road - from the junction with Coxlands Rock to the junction with Halse Road. A total distance of 684 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to replace three poles.
The Order becomes effective on 30th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 3rd November 2025 and last until 3rd November 2025 between the hours of 09:30 -15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
