NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER

Public Paths Diversion Order 2025
Footpath 742C(Part), Hanbury, Droitwich, Worcestershire
The above Order was made on 7 October 2025.
The effect of the Order will be to STOP UP
(A) The existing Footpath No.742C running from Point A (Grid reference 396992 262795) across farm land in an south easterly direction to Point B (Grid reference 397034 262693) as shown on the plan annexed to the Order (the Order Plan).
The overall length of the path is approximately 110 metres and is shown as a bold black line on the Order Plan.
AND CREATE
(A) A new footpath commencing from a at Point C (Grid reference 396991 262790) in a south easterly direction for approximately 6.7 metres to Point D (Grid reference 396994 262784) where it continues in a south south-easterly direction for approximately 10 metres to Point E (Grid reference 396994 262774) where it continues in a south south-westerly direction for approximately 70.3 metres to a pedestrian gate at Point F (Grid reference 396977 262706) where it continues in a east south-easterly for approximately 59 metres to Point B (Grid reference 397034 262693) where it rejoins the original line of the path, all as shown on the Order Plan.
The new footpath shall be 3 metres in width, nominally level in its cross axis and will be approximately 146 metres in length, as shown as bold black dashes on the Order Plan.
A copy of the Order and the Order Plan may be seen free of charge at the Civic Centre at the address below during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and Order Plan may be purchased at a price of £2.00.
Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to The Director of Legal and Governance, Wychavon District Council, Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore, WR10 1PT (ref. Legal/GP/25-157) not later than 14 November 2025. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Malvern Hills District Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
