Cattle Hill, Nunburnholme - Temporary Traffic Regulation
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
PART OF CATTLE HILL, NUNBURNHOLME
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing
any vehicle to proceed/from proceeding along part
of Cattle Hill, Nunburnholme from its junction with
Kilnwick Percy Hill northbound to the access to
Quary House commencing 11 November 2025
between 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours. The reason
for the closure is to enable the proposed Cattle Hill,
Nunburnholme excavation to install approximately 410
metres of telecoms ducting to link to existing fibre
apparatus as part of the fibre to home scheme works,
to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent
with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated
that the works will be completed within ten hours.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order
is via Cattle Hill, Coldwold, Roman Road, Butt Lane,
Main Street, Westbeck Hill, Inrea Hill, Baggaby
Hill, Warter Park Access Roads and Baggaby Hill,
Nunburnholme CP, Warter CP, Wolds Weighton Ward.
The road will be closed to all through traffic but access
will be maintained for residents, emergency vehicles and
pedestrians. The Order will commence 11 November
2025 and continue in force for a period not exceeding
eighteen months or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever
is the earlier. Further information can be obtained from
