Hill Fields - Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
LEA VALE / HILL FIELDS, SOUTH NORMANTON

WHEN: 07 November to 28 November 2025 (08:00 to 16:00 each day)
WHERE: Lea Vale / Hill Fields, South Normanton between the Jct. of Lea Vale and Birchwood Lane and the Jct. of Hill Fields and Birchwood Lane (only one road shut at a time).
REASON: To facilitate carriageway repair works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Lea Vale Closure - Hill Fields, Birchwood Lane and vice versa. Hill Fields Closure - Birchwood Lane, Lea Vale and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
