What is happening?

MERIDIAN WATER AREA - TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the risks to public safety during events at No. 6 Glover Drive N18, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Enfield (Meridian Water Area (No.2) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2025 in the London Borough of Enfield under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. [Note: this Order continues the effect of a Notice dated 3 October 2025 given under section 14(2) of the said Act].
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily restrict traffic as and when directed by traffic signs, as detailed in the streets specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Notice.
The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above will not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services’ vehicles.
The prohibitions will operate during the times and on the dates specified in schedule 2 to this notice or until the events end.
Whilst the prohibitions are in force, the alternative routes for diverted vehicles will be as stated the schedule to this notice.
