(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The proposed Order is necessary so that telecom underground and overhead cabling works can be carried out.

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic other than exempted vehicles from proceeding along that section of Unclassified (U3195) road at Felindre Farchog – from its junction with the A487(T) Fishguard to Cardigan road, northeast to a point near the junction with the access leading to the property known as Cwm Eog.

It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect on Monday 3rd November 2025 for approximately 15 days between 09:30hrs - 15:30hrs.

These works will be carried out on a rolling programme. The alternative route for traffic will be via the A487(T) Cardigan to Fishguard road, B4582 road leading to Glanrhyd via Nevern and U3195.

The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months as a contingency should the works need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

Rhoddir HYSBYSIAD hwn drwy fod Cyngor Sir Penfro yn bwriadu, nid lai na saith diwrnod o ddyddiad yr hysbysiad hwn, gwneud gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991.

Mae’r gorchymyn arfaethedig yn angenrheidiol fel y gellir gwneud gwaith gosod ceblau teleffonau o dan ac uwchben y ddaear.

Effaith y gorchymyn fydd gwahardd dros dro yr holl draffig cerbydol heblaw am gerbydau esempt rhag myn’d ar hyd y rhan honno o’r ffordd ddidosbarth (U3195) yn Felindre Farchog – o’i chyffordd a cheffylffordd yr A487 o Aberaeron i Abergwaun, tua’r gogledd-ddwyrain i bwynt ger y gyffordd â’r fynedfa sy’n arwain at eiddo o’r enw Cwm Eog.

Y bwriad yw y bydd y cyfyngiadau, a fydd yn cael eu dangos gan arwyddion ffyrdd, yn dod i rym ddydd Llun, 3 Tachwedd 2025 am oddeutu 15 diwrnod rhwng 9.30am a 3.30pm.

Bydd y gwaith hwn yn cael ei wneud ar raglen dreigl. Y llwybr amgen i draffig fydd ar hyd cefnffordd yr A487 o Aberteifi i Abergwaun, ffordd y B4582 sy’n arwain i Lan-rhyd drwy Nanhyfer a ffordd yr U3195.

Bydd y gorchymyn yn parhau i fod yn ddilys am uchafswm o 18 mis fel cynllun wrth gefn pe bai angen ail-drefnu’r gwaith, neu os bydd unrhyw amgylchiadau annisgwyl.
