What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Moor Lane & Brawby Lane, Brawby Order 2025, No. 382

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Moor Lane & Brawby Lane, Brawby for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 20/10/25 to 28/11/25, due to works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, West Garth, Sherburn Order 2025, No. 371

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using West Garth, Sherburn for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 20/10/25 to 07/11/25, due to works. However, the maximum duration of this Order will be for 20/10/25 to 20/04/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Stamford Bridge To Buttercrambe Bridge, Buttercrambe Order 2025, No 394

We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Stamford Bridge To Buttercrambe Bridge, Buttercrambe for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 03/11/25 to 28/11/25 due to kerbing & drainage works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary 30 MPH Speed Restriction, Nunnington To East Ness, Nunnington Order 2025 No.391

We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 30 mph along Nunnington To East Ness & Slingsby to East Ness Nunnington for a temporary period of 4 months between 29/10/25 to 28/02/26, due to Yorkshire Water. The maximum duration of the order will be from 29/10/25 to 29/03/26. The restriction will be put into effect by notices & signs. Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking Amendment No TBC Order 2025 Notice

Notice is hereby given that North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend “North Yorkshire Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Ryedale) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below

Prohibition of Waiting at All Times

High Street, Wilton Northeast from its junction with Cliff Lane, to a point 10 metres northwest of the centreline of its junction with Cawcliff Lane. Cliff Lane, Wilton North from its junction with Cawcliff Lane, to a point 8 metres east of the centreline of its junction with Cawcliff Lane. Cliff Lane, Wilton South from its junction with Cawcliff Lane, to a point 64 metres east of the centreline of its junction with Cawcliff Lane. Cawcliff Lane, Wilton Southeast from its junction with High Street, to a point 22 metres south of the centreline of the junction. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Pickering Library, The Ropery, Pickering, North Yorkshire YO18 8DY during normal office hours from 15/10/25 to 07/11/25 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map

Malton Railway Street from a point 37 metres south of the centre line of its junction with Water Lane, to a point 23 metres south of the centre line of Railway Street Bridge. Prohibition of Waiting between the hours of 08.00 & 18.00
