Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U31037 Britten Street, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) and The Urban District of Redditch (Edward Street/Britten Street) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1973 (Temporary (Part) Suspension) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U31037 Britten St from its junction with U31036 Bridge St to its junction with U31000 Bromsgrove Rd and to temporarily (part) suspend The Urban District of Redditch (Edward Street/Britten Street) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1973 to allow two-way traffic on U31037 Britten St to enable access for residents and businesses for the duration of the works.

Reason: Utility work by BT.

Alternative route: U31036 Bridge St, U31035 Elm Rd, U31031 Cedar Rd, U31028 Hewell Rd, U31000 Bromsgrove Rd.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 15 October 2025 and 17 October 2025.

(U43402 Church Lane/U43402 Cladswell Lane/U43402 Dogbutt Lane, Cookhill)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

 Order made: to close that part of Closure 1 – U43402 Church Lane from its junction with A441 Evesham Rd to its junction with U43402 Cladswell Ln. Closure 2 – U43402 Cladswell Lane from its junction with U43402 Church Ln to its junction with U43407 Wood Ln. Closure 3 – U43402 Dogbut Lane from its junction with U43407 Wood Ln to its junction with B4092 Mile Post Ln to Edgiock Crossroads.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing by WCC.

Alternative route: B4092 Mile Post Ln to Edgiock Crossroads, B4090 Salt Way, A441 The Ridgeway, A441 Evesham Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days between 20 October 2025 and 2 November 2025.

(A441 Alvechurch Highway Roundabout over Coventry Highway/A441 Alvechurch Highway/A4023 Coventry Highway (Eastbound Exit Slip Road) to A441 Alvechurch Highway/A4023 Coventry Highway (Westbound Slip Road) to A441 Alvechurch Highway Roundabout, Redditch (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 – A441 Alvechurch Highway whole roundabout over Coventry Highway from its junction with A441 Alvechurch Highway to its junction with A4023 Coventry Highway. Closure 2 – A441 Alvechurch Highway from its junction with A441 Redditch Ringway to its junction with A441 Alvechurch Highway (Southbound Slip Rd) to R/A441 Alvechurch Rdbt Roundabout. Closure 3 – A4023 Coventry Highway (Eastbound Exit Slip Road) to A441 Alvechurch Highway from its junction with A4023 Coventry Highway roundabout with B4160 Redditch Highway to its junction with A441 Avlechurch Highway Roundabout over Coventry Highway. Closure 4 – A4023 Coventry Highway (Westbound Slip Road) to A441 Alvechurch Highway Roundabout over Coventry Highway from its junction with A4023 Coventry Highway to its junction with A441 Alvechurch Highway roundabout over Coventry Highway.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: Diversion 1 – A441 Alvechurch Highway (part), A448 Warwick Highway, A4189 Warwick Highway into Warwickshire, A435 Alcester Rd, A435 Hollowood Bypass into Birmingham, A441 Birmingham Rd, A441 Alvechurch Bypass, A441 Birmingham Rd and vice versa. Diversion 2 – A4023 Coventry Highway (Eastbound), A4023 Coventry Highway Roundabout with B4497 Batters Dr, A4023 Coventry Highway (Westbound), B4160 Redditch Ringway and vice versa. Diversion 3 – A4023 Coventry Highway (Eastbound) into Warwickshire, A4189 Warwick Highway, A448 Warwick Highway, A448 Alcester Highway, A441 Alvechurch Highway (part) and vice versa. Diversion 4 – A441 Alvechurch Highway, A441 Alvechurch Bypass, A441 Birmingham Rd into Birmingham, A435 Holloway Bypass, A435 Alcester Rd into Warwickshire, A4023 Coventry Highway and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 nights (20:00–06:00) between 15 October 2025 and 28 October 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2025 (Disabled Persons’ Parking Space on Kempsey Close, Redditch)

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons’ parking space on the following length of road in Redditch:

Kempsey Close (south side) – from a point 12 metres from its junction with Woodrow South for a distance of 6.0 metres in a north westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited time by disabled persons’ vehicles.

Lyndewood Road (west side of road) – from a point 163 metres from its junction Downsell Road for a distance of 6.6 metres in a north westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited time by disabled persons’ vehicles.
