Westonzoyland Road, Temporary Road Closure due to Clarke Telecom mast installation works

Temporary Closure of Westonzoyland Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Westonzoyland Road - from 74 metres west of the junction with Alderney Road, northwards for a total distance of 13 metres.
This Order will enable Clarke Telecom to carry out mast installation and maintenance works on behalf of Hutchinson 3G Ltd.
The Order becomes effective on 28th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 3rd November 2025 and last until 3rd November 2025 between the hours of 09:30 -15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
