What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(VILLIERS AVENUE) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Villiers Avenue in
both directions from outside properties 30-32.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken on 30 October 2025, between the hours of
09:30 and 15:30.
The diversion route is: Harper Road, Elm Avenue,
Regent Street and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate a telecoms pole install by
BT.
