What is happening?

(KIRKCUDBRIGHT AUTUMN FESTIVAL) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 to temporarily close St Mary Street, St Cuthbert Street, Castle
Street, High Street onto Moat Brae via Castle Bank from 19:30 to
20:30 on 31/10/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate a procession
to mark the end of the Autumn Festival. No alternative route required.
Pedestrian access will be maintained. 
(A711 DUMFRIES – KCB – CASTLE DOUGLAS) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC
REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close A711 at Beeswing from 20/10/25 to 22/10/25 (7am – 4pm daily). The closure is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. Alternative route available via A711, B794, A75 and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be
maintained.
(U4S ACHIE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 to temporarily close U4s West Port, New Galloway from its junction with the High Street to outside West Port House from 0930 to 1530 on 27/10/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate BT duct unblocking and cabling works. Alternative route available via U4s, A712, A762 and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
